Welcome in Nepal



 Nepal a small landlocked Asian country high in the Himalayas between India and China. Nepal  is a very beautiful country in the world. Nepal covers the total area of 147181 square kilometers, which is 0.03% of the world and 0.3% of Asia continent. The breath varies from 145 to 241 kilometers but in average is 193 kilometers. The length of the country from east Mechi to west Mahakali is 885 kilometers.

The country is divided into three geographical regions. Himalayan region, it lies in the northern point of country. It ranges from 4877 meters to 8848 meters, it is covered by high Himalayas, where the world highest mountain Mt. Everest lies with other eight highest summits in the world, which cued altitude of 8000 meters of including Kanchanjangha, Lotshe, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Annapurna and others. It covers 19% (i.e. 24964.39 square kilometers) of total land area of Nepal.

Similarly in the central part the hilly region lies. It ranges from Churia range to Mahabharata range that soars from 610 meters to 4877 meters. It covers 64% (i.e. 94195.84 square kilometers) of total land area. And in the southern part of the country the Terai region lays with the flat plains lands where the lordly tigers and the great one horned rhinoceros trundle at ease. It ranges from 70 meters to 610 meters. It covers 17% (i.e. 25020.77 square meters) of total land area of Nepal.

The total population of Nepal is around 25000000 according to national census 2058 V.S. with the growth rate of 2.25% and it has more than 40 ethnic groups and 70 spoken languages. Many people are dependent on agriculture of their living.

Nepal in rich is natural resources. It has 2.275% of the world water resources. If we use our resources such as raw materials, manpower, capital and power & energy sources in development of transport, education, health, power, commerce and markets etc. then our country will come in development track.



The capital city of Nepal is Kathmandu. Other major cities are Pokhara, chitwan Biratnagar, Birgang, Baglung, Nepalgung etc. The map of Nepal is:

Nepal is small country but it has several places and things to visit. There is few persons who don’t know about Nepal. The hightest mountain of the world  MT Everest, God Gautam Buddha was born in Nepal. Places of Nepal to visit are as follows:

Kathmandu
Kathmandu is the capital city of nepal. It is also known as city of temple. UNESCO World Heritage Sites has declared Durbar Squares of Hanuman Dhoka, Patan, Bhaktapur, the Buddhist stupas of Swayambhu and Boudhnath, and the Hindu temples of Pashupatinath and Changu Narayan and Lumbini as the eight cultural heritages of the Kathmandu Valley. Chitwan

Chitwan is one of the tourism area of Nepal.Chitwan National Park has stretched across an area of 932 sq. kilometers and lies in the inner Terai belt of Chitwan. The park offers a very worthwhile excursion through jungle safari. With nature at its best you will come across the rarest species of eco-system. Canoeing through the lake of the park will have you encounter with crocodiles and more fun-filled adventure. LUMBINI

 Lumbini is the birth place of Lord Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama was born in 623 B.C. Emperor Ashoka built a large stone pillar containing an inscription about the birth of the Buddha. Lumbini bears not only historical and religious significance but also cultural significance. Lumbini Garden, Maya Devi Temple, Tara Foundation, World Peace Pagoda, China Temple, Thai Monastery, Burmese (Myanmar) Temple, Nepal Buddha Temple and Dharmaswami Buddhist monastery are the major attractions of Lumbini. There is a museum and a research center for Buddhism. It is also considered an ideal birding destination as it houses variety of rare bird species. Many high quality hotels, restaurants and lodges are available in Lumbini.



POKHARA

Pokhara is the most popular tourist destination in Nepal. It  is a city of lacks. Pokhara is 200 kms away from Kathmandu and is a major holiday destination for both domestic and international tourists. It is most popular for its lakes Phewa, Begnas and Rupa. Exploring the deep-seated mysteries of intriguing caves like Mahendra Gupha will further heighten your spirit of adventure. The Devil's Fall and the gorge of the Seti River are the other dotted places for sightseeing. After entering Pokhara you will be totally captivated by true ambience of nature and  its exquisite beauty.
